The brainchild of Brooklyn producer DJ Clear, the BISKITHEAD project harks back to 90’s style filter house with a fresh approach. Leaning on his extensive musical knowledge, Clear curates obscure funky, soul grooves, adds his signature touches and weaves them into dance floor burners.

The A side, “Give Back My Soul” is a cheeky flip of the relatively unknown 1977 french release Give Back My Song by Wally And Shane. Fueled by sped up vocals, infectious basslines and a driving beat that continues to build culminating in a climactic cressendo that subsides before building again.

The B side is equally rewarding, “Gave You My Love” is an energetic banger centered on another classic 1977 release, underground disco song Where Is The Love (You Promised Me) by The Jack Sass Band. Powered by vocal chops, a searing bassline, retro synths and thundering drums, this is a unique and exciting house record that will not disappoint.
